Design statement :
The brief is simply “creating a ‘all you can eat’ restaurant’ without asian-japanese stereotype interior, Therefore our team composed the facade and interior using simple geometric shape, One of the challenges is the main facade is facing west directly, and to gain attention from quite a speedy traffic, we played with the orientation of the facade, using bare concrete finish, we stacked a few planes facing diagonally to the incoming traffic, with certain height proportion, we are able to create an iconic shape of the facade into space-ship like shape.
inside interior is designed on series of vistas, with simple, cozy and light industrial ambience, the interior is composed with various shapes. The roof top has a few skylights that let light coming through to the 1st floor making it changing the ambience every hour of the day.
