Flat Traditional is one of our first experimental residential project on late 2015
The main idea of the house is to experiment with idea on enclosed and open space at the same time. The front facade composed with exposed concrete to protect privacy while the upper part with hardwood lattice structure to create permeable visible surface to balance the two elements. While the inside is designed to have a tranquil japanese garden as counterpart of the introvert facade.

Traditional modern minimalist house facing with large zen garden hidden behind huge flat concrete wall to create privacy for the occupants and act as sound barrier. Large zen garden start from public area into more private area by blurring the contrast between two different response towards surrounding. Front wall acted as introvert house that show simplicity through its minimal wall feature while the inside part create the intimacy between inside of the house and large zen garden.
